Cool season gardening is my favorite because I just love those veggies the best! They can be a bit trickier to keep happy, but man is it fulfilling to roast your own cauliflower and to sprinkle arugula onto steamy eggs in the morning.

Some tips for Fall Gardening and Garden Planning:
- When mapping our raised beds, plan what goes on the trellises and outer edges first, as those spaces are special for plants that climb and vine.
- Inter-plant things that like shade or extra water.
- Plan space to be open for succession sowing of things like carrots, beets, radishes, broccoli, turnips, etc.
- Companion plant like your life depends on it! Understand what goes well together, and what should stay apart. Tip: never plant garlic with beans or peas.
