I love a basket with a little edge so that my garden veggies stay in the basket. For flowers with long stems, or big leafy greens like chard I like a large flat basket. Sometimes I take a deep round basket out for fruit and things like onions and garlic, or a shallow basket with a high edge for berries, tomatoes, and other soft items that I don’t want to be squished.

While aprons and skirt hems make great baskets, I simply can not resist buying all the pretty woven things.
