Farm to Closet: Christy Dawn Dresses Healing the Earth
I am so excited to tell you all about this new thing I get to do! I get to be a Christy Dawn Steward.
That means that I get to learn all about regenerative agricultural practices via the lens of how our clothing is made. Christy Dawn is a dress company that started out using dead-stock fabric to make their dresses. It’s the most sustainable way to create clothing as it rescues fabric from landfills and doesn’t add to the pollution problem that is inherent in the fashion industry.
Well, now Christy Dawn is taking it a step further and growing their own cotton, the most responsible way possible! They are using all regenerative practices which means NO pesticides, herbicides, or toxins. Ever.
Why does this matter? Well, they are healing the soil and the earth. And they are creating clothing that sits on our skin (our largest organ) without contaminating it.
This list goes on and on, and you can read all about it here.
For now, I want to formally announce being a steward for them, and truly proclaim my gratitude and honor in that.
Each month I’ll be showcasing a new dress and talking about regenerative agriculture!
To start us off though, I want to show you my favorite pieces from the line that just launched.
If you’d like to support me and my family, I have a special link for purchasing that earns me an affiliate commission (at no cost to you of course).

Here are three other picks I LOVE.
These dresses are beautiful, lightweight, and STUNNING in person. They are a bit of an investment, but in that you get quality and peace of mind. If you have any questions, leave them here in the comments!
