Turn A Bookcase into An Indoor Seed Starting Station

There are a couple of things:
- We don’t have a ton of space
- If it can be both beautiful and functional, then that’s a win!
Starting seeds under grow lights is a fantastic way to get on top of starting seedlings so that you can save money and get them in the ground exactly when you want. Additionally, you can grow cool and unique varietals.
We’ve had this old bookcase for years (I actually bought it at a garage sale and then stained it darker before we were even dating!) and it was a day away from getting taken to Goodwill when the idea came to me to make it an indoor seed growing area.
If you’re looking to create something similar, I highly recommend the lights I got. They are SO EASY to assemble. The easiest. They give you stickers as an option, which meant I didnt have to do weird drilling. Yes, please!

A quick note about grow lights: they only need to be on your seeds for about 14-16 hours a day, so be sure to turn them off at night before you go to bed. Seed babies need rest too!
Good luck, and if you have any questions, leave them in the comments.
