Biodynamic 500, also known as cow horn manure is a homeopathic soil treatment. As I prepare my new garden, I knew that I wanted to do this and so propositioned a friend with a longhorns ranch to let me take some cow poop in exchange for a latte ☕️🐄 To make your biodynamic 500 preparation you gather the manure of a lactating cow and stuff a raw cow’s horn with it. You then bury the horns about 18 inches deep in a location near the garden. You let the horns sit from Fall until Spring where the manure becomes a highly nutritious humus. You then make a compost tea that is brimming with good micronutrients, helping naturally boost your soil. Tell me, would you do this?? Send to your fave gardening friend so we can spread the word 🌿

Getting grounded would have been a lot easier, but now I have real skills. 90s parents did a few things right. Ps: this @laineywilson song 🤌🏼 reminds me of leaving the farm, going to the city, and then coming back to the country.
